Position Summary

Ensure that customers receive the highest quality deliverables with respect to editorial support for both our internal and external platforms such as the internet and social media, thought leadership and brochures

Objectively review deliverables to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax

Check content for language, flow and grammar issues and improve readability, if required

Write/script for creative or formal business documents or collaterals

Adept in project management and reporting

Proficient in communicating with the leadership

Supervising writers; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style

Working with Digital and Social media team to map out a content strategy that supports and extends our marketing strategy, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for the brand and why

Display expertise in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization

Work with the client analytics team to ensure meaningful measurement

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Ensure compliance with our Style Guide including creative and digital writing guidelines, copyright and citation guidelines
  • Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person. This is to be done for each customer persona within the organization
  • Ensure compliance with our copyright laws and manage own work with minimal guidance
  • Assist in peer reviews and quality checks. Liaise with stakeholders and design teams to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Supporting firm-wide digital initiatives with strategic support as and when required
  • Improving the quality and relevance of content by gauging its context beyond basic language editing
  • Offering pertinent suggestions to structure and present deliverables to enhance their impact
  • Reviewing and/or assisting in developing and refining graphical and tabular representations, maximizing their value to substantiate content more effectively
  • Communicating feedback to help team improve their writing skills and style and conducting need-based training
  • Working with other team members to regularly update the us Style Guide and digital writing guidelines and to share pertinent concepts to upgrade processes
  • Provide timely and appropriate response to ad hoc editorial and writing requests
  • Integration of content activities within traditional marketing campaigns
  • Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness. Gather data and handle analytics (or supervise those who do) and make recommendations based on those results. Work with owners of particular content to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals
  • Developing standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies
  • Develop a functional content calendar throughout the verticals in the service function and defining the owners in each vertical to particular persona groups
  • Integration of content activities within traditional marketing campaigns
  • Establishing work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content. Work with technical team to implement appropriate CMS
  • Work closely with the design teams on all creative and branding initiatives to ensure a consistent message across channels
  • Desirable 

Supervise and support junior writers across the team

Supervising the maintenance of content inventories and matrices

Leveraging market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers that leads to critical behavioural metrics

Knowledge of and experience in the professional services industry is an asset

Required Qualification

Essential – Graduation

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree – preferably in English, Journalism or Business Communications

Technical Skills/Tools Requirement
