Drive catalyst and adsorbents sales with existing and potential customers in the refining and petrochemical industry for replacements.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Axen’s catalyst capabilities and promote the same through regular customer interactions
Responsible for preparing the detailed technical and commercial response to the customer based on the tender document, attend all pre-bid meetings with customer to understand the customer requirements to fulfill all aspects (including quality standards) of proposal for bid and assume overall responsibility for submitting final offer to customer in coordination with Axens France.
Coordinate with Axens France for preparation of technical bid of tender. Address all technical queries related to bid (in coordination with team in Axens France)
Finalize legal aspects of bid in coordination with Legal team in Axens France and ensure all commercial terms are suitably answered in coordination with Commercial Department in Axens France
Coordinate with the customer for all financial aspects related to catalyst sales order (mode of payment, time of delivery etc.) and communicate the same to the Axens France team
Responsibility for catalyst bid/ sending tenders for review in case of replacement of catalyst (post the initial sale of the catalyst).
Coordinate and track logistics and supply with Axens France for delivery of catalyst and resolve any customer grievances arising out of the same
Interact with Axen India’s Technical Service department to ensure that Technical Services are being provided to units operating with Axens catalyst products. Use above information to look for future Sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction
Provide feedback to the Catalyst Product Department at Axens France regarding any quality issues received from customers or adjustments needed in the current product portfolio for the region
Monitor the business results and achievements and report to the Head of the department on a regular basis
Participate in the post-mortem project analysis on key wins and losses, to ascertain reasons for winning and losing and make recommendations to improve future catalyst sales efforts.
Assist the Department head in preparing a detailed business plan and annual budget for the department
Maintain a detailed record for all customer relationship in the assigned geography (India).
Update database for catalyst sales and maintain documentation of changes on catalyst cost and catalyst type (for any up gradation in technology) and maintain market database for tracking competition
