It is generally expected that candidates have experience in the Defense and Aviation domains.
Experience working in an embedded environment, through the entire hardware and systems development cycle. Expertise in DFA / DFT / DFM would be a huge plus.
Expert level skill in Digital and Analog circuitry design. Experience with RF and Micro-wave circuits will be a huge plus. In-depth knowledge of various analog, digital, / DSP / micro-processor / micro- controller / FPGA, peripheral components, component selection and sourcing is expected by default.
Expert level skill in EDA / CAD / Simulation and Modeling / CAE tools deployed for circuit / FPGA and system implementation. Expertise in Hardware Design Languages like VHDL will be a huge plus.
Experience in multi-layered board level hardware architecture and design, development and systems engineering complying with Industrial, MIL and airborne standards.
Expertise in any of the following systems would be a huge plus – Single Board computer design, Chassis based boards and systems, Mezzanine boards, Data Acquisition Systems, Signal Conditioning and integrity, Telemetry, Graphics Processing and Human machine interface systems, , Communication systems and GPS, Radar Signal Processing etc.
Experience in communication interfaces and protocols built around Serial, Synchronous, Asynchronous, Ethernet, USB, Wireless platforms. Familiarity with communication interfaces such as ARINC and MIL 1553B will be a huge plus. Good aptitude to develop these skills (with training) will also be considered
Expertise in working on software and firmware built around Micro-Processors, Micro-Controllers, Digital Signal Processors, ASICs and other programmable devices and using Real Time operating systems / kernels (VxWorks, RT Linux). Expert level skill in code instrumentation and debugging will be a huge plus. Good aptitude to develop these skills (with training) will also be considered
Familiarity with usage of tools such as Logic Analysers, Digital Oscilloscopes and various other development, test and debug tools and techniques
Experience in Systems engineering design for compliance with EMI / EMC/ RFI standards and other environmental aspects as applicable in the defense and aviation sectors.
Experience in designing and developing Test Equipment for Systems, including Automated Test Equipment (ATE) will be a huge plus.
Experience in working with configuration management tools from requirement capture to code maintenance and documentation. Experience in creating technical know-how for production and other product collaterals would be given additional weightage.
Familiarity of working in ISO 9001 / AS9100 process environments will be a plus. Comply with all ISMS and EMS safety requirements. Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals. Ensure Company policies & procedures are followed.
