Job Summary
·  Adhering to and be custodian of the Student Directive of ISH
·  Taking care of students in their allotted blocks
·  Mediating between student disputes about noise, unacceptable behavior etc., to the company, thus ensuring good order and behavior is maintained in the Hostel
·  Available for “on call – duty” whenever required, which provides emergency cover in the evenings and weekends
·  Assisting the site staff with the admission related documentation of new students
·  Establishing and maintaining appropriate social contact with students
·  Providing relevant information about the students whenever it is required
·  Offering appropriate first aid support when needed.
·  Taking part in implementation fire drills, crime prevention and health & safety awareness initiatives
·  Taking appropriate action and responding to on-site emergencies during out of hours (burst pipes, broken windows, burglaries, locked out of rooms etc.)
·  Liaison with Student Representative, Director Academics, Head of Administration and COO respectively, over student issues or concerns
·  Maintaining accurate records and writing reports to help to identify trends that may require action
·  Ability to listen to and establish a rapport with students
·   Ability to manage time effectively
·   Negotiation/facilitation skills
·   Co-ordinate with the management for framing policies, rules and regulations for hostel
·    Creation of all facilities in the hostel
·     Supervise for the smooth running of the hostels and related facilities within 
·  Plan for upgradation and maintenance of Facilities in the hostels
·  Ensure security of the students by co-ordinating with the security officer and staff

Key Responsibilities
Ø Maintenance of discipline in Hostel
Ø Supervise hostel blocks, food and other facilities
Ø Co-ordinate with Administration Team for student transportation
Ø Co-ordinate with Academic and Admission Team for student personal documentation
Ø Mediating and liasioning between student and College for relevant issues
Ø Providing relevant information of students
Ø Leading activities of Student Service Centre
Ø Available for “on call – duty” at all times
Ø Responding to on-site emergencies

Ø Proactive, resourceful and flexible.
Ø Able to quickly absorb new information regarding tools and processes.
Ø Able to work well with all levels of internal Students, management and staff
Ø Positive approach and attitude toward work
Ø Fluency in English & Hindi is must
Ø Previous experience in hostel from a reputed Institute
